Dining in the Baronial Hall

Three course dinner is served in the Baronial Hall at the grand dining table made of solid oak with heavy oak chairs with the Leslie Crest carved into the chair backs. The dining table made for the nobility of Leslie Castle seats 14 but smaller parties or couples are catered for in smaller groupings at the table. Traditionally guests who dined at the castle were served from a set menu but from 2022 we offer choice subject to availability. Guests can chose a starter, a main course and a dessert, see menu below, the price is £35 per person. Your choice must be made beforehand so we can procure fresh ingredients and cater for you as we are a low volume bespoke outfit.

At present we are not licensed to serve alcoholic drinks however you may bring a bottle of your choice to the table and glasses will be provided.

Starter Selection: Garlic Mushrooms, Salad, Smoked Salmon Canapes, Beetroot, Feta, served with Garlic Toast (minimum 2 people)

Main Course

Balmoral Chicken

Breast of Chicken covered with Parma Ham (with or without haggis filling), served with Broccoli, Carrots and Roast Potatoes


Vegetarian Moussaka

Layers of courgette, Aubergine and Potato in a rich tomato sauce, topped with Cheese


Scottish Salmon

Salmon served on a bed of Asparagus with Creamed Potatoes, Carrots and Peas



Deserts

Fresh Strawberry and Cream Mini Pavlova


Apple Strudel served with Cream


Sticky Toffee Pudding served with Cream


Ice Cream with choice of Sauce
