UPDATE 22nd March 2020: We are cancelling the few remaining bookings in March and April (ie the next 6 weeks). We will review the situation day by day and let customers know if that changes. Our cancellation policy is very flexible if you are concerned about travelling please contact us directly.
To all our valued customers, we wanted to update you on the precautions Leslie Castle is taking to minimise the risks from COVID-19.
We are continuing to follow and monitor official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health Scotland. It is of vital importance for us to be in a position to ensure that any and all procedures are in place to support the health and well-being of our customers and staff.
To help combat the spread of COVID-19, we have been putting precautionary safety measures in place, including:
Cleaning high contact points more frequently
Emphasizing frequent and proper hand washing
Providing hand sanitizer
Educating our staff on prevention
In line with government guidance, we are continuing to operate as usual. We understand that there may be people who are unsure about whether to book. We also understand that there will be customers who have booked and may wish to cancel or defer their travel arrangements. This is understandable, and our cancellation policy is flexible to help at this difficult time.
Our standard cancellation policy is:
– If the booking is cancelled less than 3 days before arrival then a charge equal to the first nights of the stay will be made.
– If the booking is cancelled 3 or more days before arrival then an admin fee of 20 GBP per booking will be made.
However for bookings in March and April we have waived the first night payment right up to 24 hours before you are due to arrive. We will review the situation for the following months as it becomes clearer what the situation will be.
Thank you for your continued passion and support for Leslie Castle.
